Environmental Strategist

What to expect

• Calculating and interpreting corporate carbon footprints (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and proposing decarbonisation targets and measures.
• Assessing corporate environmental impacts and preparing specific recommendations for reduction.
• Preparing environmental sections of ESG strategies – from processing input data to final recommendations and deliverables for clients.
• Supporting clients with ESG reporting, identifying material topics, and meeting regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with inspiring clients and colleagues.

Who we’re looking for

• A specialist with practical experience in carbon footprinting and decarbonisation.
• An understanding of core environmental concepts (carbon footprint, emission factors, life cycle assessment, impact materiality) at a level that allows you to work with them actively.
• The ability to interpret reporting requirements (ESRS and similar frameworks) – understanding the underlying environmental principles and translating them into concrete corporate obligations.
• Independence and analytical thinking, with the ability to work with data, verify its quality, and compile reports.
• Advanced MS Excel skills are required; knowledge of other tools is an advantage.
• A communicative personality with a very good command of Czech and English (minimum B2).
• An overlap into climate risks, biodiversity, TNFD, ESRS E4, or supply chain due diligence is an advantage; experience from a consulting environment, an in-house ESG role, or knowledge of specialised carbon accounting software is a plus.
